So we had our last zone conference and activity before Cambios and it´s really only significant this time, because almost half of our zone is leaving in this change! So for our activity we were supposed to hike a mountain and then enjoy our Baleadas at the top, but our hike turned into Bush-whacking! There was nothing even similar to a trail and just huge plants and trees that we had to push our way through. It was quite the adventure and we all made it to the top alive to enjoy our food and the veiw! It was definitely a good meeting to end on!
Also, this Wed. is Cambios and I¨ll be getting a new companion and my old companion will be heading home to Arizona. This week has definitely been a little bitter-sweet with regards to that. But, as our last adventure together we contacted a guy who had had a little too much to drink and his family. And after we went to their house and taught them that night he offered to cook us dinner, in his drunken state. At first I was a little worried, but the food actually turned out really good. He made us beans with mantequilla, some special kind of eggs, and bread. It was quite delicious and he was quite hilarious! Well, I don´t know what more to say other than that I love it here in Honduras and I love the people and the food and everything! Ánd I´m enjoying my time immensely! Love you all!
Love,
Hermana Hansen
